I have a zafira 57plate 1.9cdti Sri
2 weeks after buying eml came on with p2279 boost leak fault code.
Garage couldn't fix the fault nor find a leak.
After much googling and head scratching I decided to remove the EGR, DPF Insides removed and swirlflaps removed and blanked. All has been mapped to suit and a stage1map done too (seemed rude not too)
The ecu was reset but the p2279 has come back. Also the turbo flutters like mad under load and you can hear whoosing under load too.
Everything was cleaned thoroughly as the whole intake system was spotted up.
I've pressure tested the intake system and still no leak found.
My questions are ......
where do I look next?
What do I check?
Will this ever get resolved before my bank balance gives up?
I should also mention limp mode hasn't cut in since the remap but the spanner light and eml take it in turns to be on.
