ok i will start from beginning so i can put full story out but main concern is last part. i purchased a 2007 (56 plate) automatic vauxhall astra 1.8 design in september 2014 from arnold clark with a 3 month warrranty. ever since then iv had a few problems mainly with the emmisions light coming on. had it in workshop few times whilst warranty was still valid. not had anything wrong since they fitted a new sensor which stopped the light coming on. now however it has been back on. my brother plugged in a wee thing to read codes and 2 codes appeared, one ending with A/T. he cleared the codes and light went off and has been off for past week. now however last night whilst driving when the car went into 4th gear i lost acceleration and felt like i had no power,that only last for 5 secs max and then got back to speed. it has however happened to me again tonight and i had to stop the car this time. i was driving along at 30 mph when the car went into 4th gear and i lost acceleration again. i had to pull over as i was slowing down and had traffic behind me. this has only happened those 2 times and car still drives fine before and after it happens. i am now really worried that i have a big problem with my gearbox after only having the car for a short while. any advice would be great please
