2008 Ford Focus diesel .I have had this car since 2010 and never had a bit of bother with it . Recently though it is coming up with an engine malfunction warning on the dash on start up . After only driving a couple of hundred yards and while still moving I can switch engine off then turn key back to position two and the fault is cleared . If I was to switch engine off , stop the motor and then restart it the fault would still be there . I recently changed the fuel filter . There is no fault codes showing on the vehicle and no loss of power or faults .
