Car accident - My fault

Hi there,

I scraped the side of a car the other day (I won't bore you with the details), but it was my fault. I am pretty new to driving, and whilst I accept I am to blame for the damage, the lady in question is also pushing for 'injury' claims. Not sure what injury you can get from scraping the side of a car but there you go...

Basically I want advice on the process I need to go through. Do I contact my insurance company and let them know? Is there anything else I can do to minimise the claim on my insurance etc?
