I've got a 2009 Hyundai i20 with manual gearbox. I haven't have it serviced for a couple of years which means the warranty has lapsed.
That means I don't necessarily need to have the standard Hyundai 6-yr service, and so I'm trying to decide whether to have the standard service or go for a cheaper independent one.
The independent service includes engine/oil filter change, spark plug/air filter change, fuel filter change and steering column check (?) for £200.
The Hyundai service includes all of the above plus gasket oil plug(?), brake + clutch fluid and gearbox oil change for around £150 extra.
Any advice on whether I should go for the full Hyundai service at this stage? The car's only done around 22,000 miles - less than 4000 miles a year - and there are no obvious problems when driving it.
Any pointers much appreciated...
