considering getting a different car

Hello

I currently drive a corsa 1.2 Sxi and was thinking of aiming to get a ford focus zetec 3 doors would be the mk2 my budget is £3000
i like the design and prefer to get a bigger car that's manageable in terms of size and run costs.

Was wondering if its a good car to get or can i get something else for the money.
