Mondeo 2.0 TDCi injector problem

My 59 plate Mondeo 2.0 tdci is like a tractor on cold starts;blue smoke, sounds like it's on three cylinders but after a short journey it is fine.
Has anyone any ideas- is it just a blocked/dirty injector or something more serious?
