off road for 6 months and need mot help

Hello.
My car has been off the road for 6 months and the car needs an mot.
Apart from a flat battery the car is ok.
Iam worried that having been off the road for so long I may have damaged the car.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get my car ready for the mot.
