Speeding in the fist 2 years

I am still in my probationary 2 years of driving and have recently been cought speeding. I have been able to do a speed awarness corse but that is not for another month.
Will I have 3 points untill I have done the corse?
I think I may have been caught again, so if I have been caught, will I loose my licence and have 6 points or have 3 points?
Any help?
