Just bought a 2005 focus petrol Zetec , never noticed these problems when i test drove the car before purchase kind of panic bought as was told my 15 year old Toyota most reliable car I ever had was not going to make it thru another m.o.t.
1.Anyway the clutch seems to be really high as if there's no biting point on the clutch until it's nearly fully up it goes through the gears no problem at all kind of hurts my foot / leg as use the car a fair bit during the day, wat could this be?
2.Handbrake seems to stick as in some times when on a small slope you'd expect the car to roll but it doesn't move ! and it squeals a bit when driving off after the hand brakes been applied but as soon as in motion there's no noise.
3.Last but not least I like to put my foot down abit , when giving the car a bit of welly the engine kind of flutters it's fine if I keep the revs low could it be fuel filter? Spark plugs? Coil pack?
So 3 pretty big problems there that I hope can be sorted by myself or reasonably cheap if any one can help that would be great thanks!
