Very Poor Service again and again

Wife called RAC at 8.27pm on 110814 having had two punctures. She was alone, in country lane with no street lights and felt very vulnerable. Refused any assistance until she paid for recovery (although her insurance policy had this). With no card with her she had to wait until I got in at 9.15pm, £ paid and promised pick up within the hour. Pick up not until nearly 1am next morning which meant she was left vulnerable for nearly 4.5 hours. Complaint lodged and acknowledged 130814 with resonse date of 120914, nothing received by 220914 phoned & eventually got thru to case manager who confirmed that she has yet to look at case. Then promised an email by 260914. Now 290914 still no response and struggled to get anybody at RAC to accept responsibilty to handle case. Overall everything with this case has been poorly dealt with with nobody within RAC able to deal with as everything was been passed back to case manager who was not doing anything!!
