Hi there. Please R E A D This COMPLAINT and be A W A R E about RAC. My Experience...I am a RAC member until the end of Sep 2014. Have been a member since Sep 2010.Received my new policy for another year. I CANCELED it WHY? My policy used to cost me £87.20 per year but because I had a call out last year due to my Battery they decided that my policy would be £116.83 for the next year that is an increase of £29.63 not a lot of money maybe.Since my policy started in 2010 I am sure I called RAC to my RESCUE less that 6 times. You are entitled to 5 call outs per year.For £116.83 what would I get ? Roadside Rescue, Key Return (not interested), Motor Legal Care (don't needed I am fully comp) and At Home. ++ I hope that someone with power at RAC HEAD OFFICE reads these complaints and suggestions and take A C T I O N ++When does England and RAC is going to LEARN to APPRECIATE customer LOYALTY ? After 3 years with RAC my 4th year was going to cost me £29.63 more but no extra useful services included with the policy. They did offer a discount from £116.63 to £103.20 I Declined you know why. There is extra 10 Services, they could have included some of them for the £116.63 like: ONWARD TRAVEL, COURTESY CAR, RELIEF DRIVER, HOTEL, MISFUELING COVER to name a few. Wait dont go away Read one it gets better....Well Good News every one... I went on to www.moneysupermarket.com put in my details inc the car and gess what ? from lots of companies I PURCHASED a policy with the GREEN FLAG but what is included and how much was it for I hear you ask -Well for my car the same one I have under RAC policy it costs me ONLY £62.43 and I GET all these BENEFITS:Roadside assistance, Local recovery, Nationwide recovery, Home start, Onward journey, Relief driver, Hotel, Car hire and No call out charges also Message service,No extra charge for specialist equipment needed to get you out of mud, snow, floods and covered car parksMisfuelling cover included. If you put the wrong fuel in your tank, we'll pay the cost of draining the fuel and give you enough of the right fuel to get you going againOptions if your car can't be fixedCaravan trailer cover the only service I don't get is European cover but that service I don't need itSo BASICALLY for the next 12 months I get a lot more services should I need for my money and I am BETTER off £54.20 a year.RAC been around 117 years well they still have to LEARN.
