So I purchased my factory made Giulietta in 2012.
Since the first week of purchasing it, we noticed 2 things -
1. Intermittent High Revs while changing gear (minaly 1st to 2nd during cold starts and on hills).
2. Very poor economy
We bought this car as it was a 1.4 MA petrol that the dealers and brochers advised would be very economical due to the cars new TCT gearbox.
In over 2 years of owning the car, we still have very poor MPG (between 27-31mpg compined and the high revs still remain).
We have visited the dealers at least 4-6 times a year since purchasing the car and apart from some great box software updates they always have said they cannot find the fault.
I have just over 6 months until my 3 year warranty is up.
The car has lost complete gear as well for 5seconds during short journeys and I have had to put the best in manual to get it to change.
This has happened 4times in the whole 2.5years since owning the car.
What can I do to get the dealers to rectify the faults as they are unable to pick up the fault each time they test drive it and as it's intermittent, its harder to prove....
I have all the emails since 2012 to present regarding the faults.
