I have a ford focus tdci 02 model and just recently have had the following problem as I use it for work , I've been to work and on driving 12 to 13 miles to pick my partner up when I've stopped it won't start for at least five to ten minutes and then started again , when I returned home a fed my dogs it started again but on taking my dogs out and only driving probably a quarter mile it wouldn't start again , luckily I parked on a slight gradient and I bump started it . It has sometimes refused to start in a morning but not too often any ideas as to what could be the problem , on turning the key all the lights come on then go out and sometimes you hear the relay but the car doesn't even turn over or fire it's just silent ?.
