Hi there I have a astra 1.7 on a 06 plate and I've recently had it remapped a k&n air filter fitted on it and I was driving about ( was chucking it down every where fuddled ) bout a hour ago and I noticed a loss of power but dint fink note then went threw a huge puddle and after then my car accelerated up to 2000rpm and then seamed just to shoot up to 4000rpm with out the car moving 1st and 2nd fine it's just when i want it to start pulling it shoots up with out the car even moving so I pulled up and took the open cone filter off and put the standard air filter back on my engine management light has not come on can any body help if it something to do with the water cos the cone was wet threw?
