Hi!
So I have an old Renault Clio which has had issues for a while. Car starts first time with no issues when cold, however once the temp gauge gets close to half I start to have problems when stopping.
Basically I will go to pull up and put my car in first, and it will splutter an jolt a bit, then the warning lights come on the dashboard like it's stalled, even with my foot on the clutch. I then have to wait 2-3 minutes before I can restart the engine
Also when I have finished my journey and stopped my car, it won't restart until cooled down.
I had the RAC out to look at it, but as it's an intermittent issue they struggled to do much. As my Dad is an RAC man (lives far away unfortunately) he managed to convince my RAC engineer to replace the Crank Shaft Sensor, but this hasn't fixed the problem, and the stalling-like issue has gotten worse.
Any ideas guys??
thanks!
