The tie rod fitted to the vehicle has a locking ring component.
The replacement tie rod I have purchased is supplied with no locking ring, the knuckle part has a circular body, so there are no flat faces or grooves for a locking ring to connect to.
I just need to know if this acceptable fitting this new component, by using only thread lock and the correct torque to secure it ?.
I see there are many car parts sites also selling these components with no locking ring, so I assume providing the part is securely fitted it will be fine?
