Was first aiding at a local event yesterday and due to domestic issue could only do a four hour stint. We'd already had a 999 for ambulance and another casualty needed looking at so local doc phoned and agreed I'd take casualty to surgery (almost next door to home). Long story cut short - despite no parking cones and a plethora of signs about access to the event in vehicles - huge motorhome thinks he knows better and blocks road - chaos as there's a continuous 3 taxi service running between the car park and the event and motorhomer aggressive. Had to get police because the casualty was not improving and ended up with blues and twos to surgery. Both casualties are I'm glad to say recovering well but I could do without having to make statements to police. It is truly embarrassing to have to repeat some of the threatening and verbal abuse in the cold light of day, if you follow.
