Hi. My friend who is now semi retired bought a Bmw 318i 2002 coupe 2000c petrol auto last year without any advice from a mechanic and now the battery lights are off on the dashboard and the battery is not charging ( he asked my boyfriend for a jumpstart this morning and had to swap batteries to get home as he doesn't have breakdown insurance and he is not on ours). Any suggestions ( he is a tight wad)?
