Hi this is my first time and I hope someone can help ....during the recent high winds a transit style van ....apparently was blown down the street and hit my wall...I rent this house out ...moving it over an inch and forming a crack along the base of the wall, leaving it very unsafe ...the guy who owned the van knocked on the door and said ..."I have hit your wall" ...photos were taken ..but unfortunately no insurance details...now he has to deal with my husband he will not give up his insurance details or pay for the damage .....I can claim of my buildings insurance, can they counter claim from this mans vehicle insurance without any details ....should I have involved the police ?? and finally is there any law that insurance details must be provided...how do I find them or will my insurance do all the work ????
