Wrong address on reg doc

I'm thinking of buying a 2nd hand car, but there's just one thing holding me back - the registration documents show a different address to where the seller lives. He doesn't seem very keen to get them changed, but says he will if it hasn't sold when the ad ends. I'm not sure if that's an issue or not - can anyone help ?
