Ford focus Crank Sensor Bracket

Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone could help me out.
I have fitted a new engine to my focus but will not start, it has been found out to be from an automatic.
I have changed flywheels but I have read that the crankshaft sensors are positioned differently on the two engines.
This can only be rectified by removing gearbox and fitting the mounting bracket from a manual.
Before I do this, can anyone offer any information about the brackets?
And also, I do have spark, but very slowly.
