One of my nieces gave birth to a baby boy a couple of weeks ago in the District General Hospital in Eastbourne. Wednesday 5 Feb, it was decided the baby needed to be put in an incubator. The DGH didn't have one, so my niece and baby were transferred to another Hospital. In Leicester 180+ miles away! Seriously, a DGH Maternity Ward without incubators???!!! Of course they could probably afford a few if they didn't have a top-heavy administrative staff to have to pay.
