Can i get relay'd from home to a garage for repairs?

Hi,

Probably a stupid question but can i just ring for a relay from my home address to a mechanics address for repairs, or do i need a 'regular' patrol to attend first?

I broke down close to home and managed to nurse the car home as it was only half a mile or so, i believe that the breakdown is the clutch rather than anything more serious (although it is quite noisy with the engine ticking over), i believe its the clutch as the car is now stuck in reverse and my clutch pedal is on the floor!!
