Hi all - I've got a quetion which I'd like to get peoples opinions of - I had a puncture repaired by Protyre in Gloucester before xmas - since then I've driven to N Ireland a back in a couple of the worst days of the year with torrential rain, when I got back the car (Golf) was due an MoT which it failed on (amongst other things) - tyre fitted wrong way round, I was pretty unhappy about it as these are Conti TS winters which are definitely directional, so I returned to Protyre and they sorted it out but didn't apologise or offer a refund.
I contacted their HQ and was offered an apology and a £20 voucher to spend at Protyre - woohooo - however he didn't seem to think it was a real problem and told me that "most modern tyres aren't directional" which has really hacked me off - am i right to be hacked off and should i deserve better customer service? - needless to say I've posted everywhere about their poor service so they have lost much more than £20 - to cap it all when they refitted it they put the balance weight on the outer rim of my alloy - that looks nice!
thanks for reading
