I have just had the instrument cluster replaced on my 57 reg Focus. After independently sending the old cluster, ecu and fuse box off to BBA REMAN they were unable to complete repairs on the cluster so I had no other choice but go back to the dealership. It has cost best part of £900. Having done some research I see this is not an uncommon fault. I am after some advice as I don't consider it acceptable that on a car that has a low mileage ( sub 30k) that I expect to experience costs and failures such as this. I guess my argument is that IMO how responsible am I as the customer for non mechanical electrical faults. I am considering taking this further so would appreciate any input
