Hi,I followed a lorry into a bend on a local country road,as he came out of the bend he slammed on his brakes and I could see up the side of the lorry,a girl crossing with a horse.The HGV driver sounds his horn continuously and the girl struggles back to the verge,,she had put her hand up to stop the traffic,but the lorry was fully loaded and couldn't stop in time even though he was under the 40mph limit.
When he did stop around two lorry lengths past the horse girl,he jumped out and gave her a mouthful.
Who was right?,,do people who cross horses over roads have any training in traffic control?
