I thought I would start this thread and not tag it onto Belucky22's thread about driver education and road safety. Why must we be reminded to "Think Bike!" when out driving? Surely we should be all looking out for each other and bikers should be aware of motorists just as much. Yes, they are smaller and yes, they are very susceptible to massive injuries in a collision. As any road user from horses to HGV's surely we should be careful and thoughtful to each other without the need for "Think Bike!" signs. Perhaps "Think Car!" on the next sign to remind bikers of their obligations to other road users. I have had bikers going to Oulton Park Race Course pass me on the A49 at speeds well over 70mph. So it really is a 50/50 case of looking after each other as road users without being stupid. Your thoughts?
