Hi newbie here! I have a 2006 1.4 clio and today while it sat idling, for no reason just cut out and 2 warning messages flashed up ' check steering and check braking', with that i tried to restart but would not do anything. When i took the key out of the ignition, all the warning messages and fault light etc were still lit, as if the ignition were on?, even though i had the key in my hand! The other half came and discoonnected the battery and put it back on so this cleared the fault lights, or so I thought! Managed to drive it a short distance home, I just pulled onto the drive and stopped, and it cuts again with the same warning messages....any ideas?before i start throwing money at it!
