So, I had a car crash on 28th DEC and at the scene the other driver admitted liability. However, now it has gone through the insurers and it looks like it's going to end up a 50/50 claim as he is now refusing to accept liability.
Is there anything that can be done about this or is that how it has to stay?
The crash happened on a mini-roundabout, as I was exiting the roundabout the other driver turned right and hit my car on the drivers side, causing damage to the drivers side door and the headlight. We have taken pictures of the scene where it happened and there is a CCTV camera that may/may not have picked up the crash.
I've never had a car crash before and am not entirely sure what is supposed to happen / how long these things take to get sorted out.
