I've noticed that our council in their infinite wisdom, have been placing pedestrian crossing within 25 feet of roundabouts? So far they have placed around six of them, all on very busy junctions.
You know the score,.... you have just come off a mini roundabout,..... you check your mirror,... and bang.......you have just knocked some unlucky person down?
Apart from that, when the light is on red, for the traffic, it causes the queue of traffic to grow right back across the roundabout? As if these mini roundabouts were not dangerous enough as it is, they go and place these crossings far too close to them. :confused:
