Confusing Junction

Hi first of all hello not posted before. I have a question about right of way if anyone knows the answer following a near miss that I think was my fault.

So the junction has a left turn controlled by a green light arrow but as you go through it you immediately are across the path of oncoming cars turning right. I've seen this type of junction before with a give way line so pressume you are supposed to give way in this scenario??

So who's right of way is this? Does the filter island count as a side road or is it the same as turning left at a t junction whereby the person turning right must held to you?
