Hi my hubby parked our truck in a market square car parking space. He reversed to straighten up. It was clear as he started this manoever. It turns out an very rushed much older couple desperate for a spot turned off the main road that runs alongside the car park into his path as he was moving back slowly. He therefore hit their car door with our tow bar. We felt that as theyd turned off the carriageway into his path and werent looking and it was clear as he started it was their fault but our insurance company disagrees. I dont mind taking it on the chin if it was his fault but hard as I try I cAnt see it this way as they turned off another carriageway into his path at speed, without paying attention and frantic to get parked at all costs even admitting that they were in a rush. What do you think?
