I have only had this car a week. I was driving home yesterday and about 10 minutes in the temp light came on the dashboard. It stayed on about 2-3 minutes then went off and hasnt come back on since. I was driving on the motorway and had the heating on quite high (working fine.) Car drove me home fine no issues, bonnett did not feel hot when home. This morning I left the engine running about 10-15 minutes then drove it about 5 miles, light not coming on. Fan coming on as expected. Coolant levels full and checked again after driving and still same level so no leaks. I will keep an eye on it! I was wondering if there was a sensor or something that could be faulty? I am pretty certain the car is not over heating, everything seems fine but I dont want to be panicking if the light comes on when Im driving!!
