will it ever happen ? ban councils and their parking enforcement officers

Hi, This country is not normal.
I'm living in Uk for almost one year but still can't believe it.

Public parking is a real and unnecessary headache.
The system is oppresive, it stops the freedom of movement. Not constitutional in my opinion and common sense. As long as you park common sense there shouldn't be any problem.

"We keep the roads moving". Bullsh*t.

I don't understand why you accept to be ripped of by greedy councils ?

Is not councils's fault, they just saw and opportunity and took it. problem needs sorted from the top.

Government needs to be pressured, should step in and ban all councils and their right to enforce parking.


In normal countries (usa, germany, france, spain,.. you name it), CCTV fines and Parking Enforcement is done by police only, when the situation really needs it or someone complaining. this is the case in most of the countries around the world. Parking should be free for all. No yellow lines at all. Just look at other countries example...
looks like heaven. Wow.


I'm stunned by this abuses. this money making machine that government don't ban it. and nobody is doing nothing about that.

Shame. Bad democracy.
