Hi,
I'm after some advice.
2 weeks ago my partner got pulled over by the police. He wasn't speeding, but was going faster than he should given the weather conditions. After being puled over we explained to the police that my partner is a learner driver, and is fully insured, and I am and experienced driver (licence more than 3 years). however our 'L' plates weren't on... okay fair enough. He gave us this green slip which mentioned courses (not sure what this was), took a pic of the car, told us to change our tyres soon as they were close to the legal limit and sent us on our way. We then received a FPN for an RT88334 3 point and a £100 fine.
Since that day my partner passed his test with flying colors and we changed the tyres.... :( but now this.
My question is, I assumed he would get FPN for a LC10? driving without 'L' plates. I don't quite understand this RT88334. Is it worth me contesting this, is the code hes giving us overly harsh, or the same thing? Shall we just accept it?
Thanks,
RedRain.
