In July a lady reversed into my car after she had realised she had tried to go down a one way road, my car was written off and her insurance settled (without having to go through mine) as they confirmed, based on what had been told to them, that she was at fault. She is now claiming, after everything has been sorted, that she isn't fully at fault. When we exited the cars she was saying sorry and that she just hadn't seen me (I'm in a Ford KA and she is in a Volvo XC60), as she reversed into me and had been attempting to go the wrong way down the road, we both mutually agreed she was at fault. Where do I now stand with this? My insurance company have said they will go back and ask her company for more information as they have simply stated that she is now disputing it. Surely if they have already settled and paid, they have accepted the liability!?
