I have a Ford C-Max estate diesel 2009 1800cc recently bought which went into limp mode. Called RAC who sent out a sub-contractor, they said it was the ERG valve and towed it home. Went back to garage where I bought it and they said everything was running fine, their diagnostic showed no problems. About 2 weeks later it went into limp mode again. Called out RAC and the RAC mechanic said his diagnostic machine showed PO203 and P1203 Number 3 fuel injector open circuit. The garage took it back and sent it for a full diagnostic test which showed faulty fuel injectors No 2 and No 3. The garage replaced both with new Ford ones. Gave it back working fine and 1 day later a few hundred yards from home it went into limp mode again. so the garage is coming to collect it again tomorrow. There are no symptoms before it goes into limp mode so no clues I can tell them.
Has anyone here got any ideas as to what is causing it??
