Hi all,
I am hoping someone will be able to answer the query i have?
I have been driving for 4 years now and have driven numerous cars/vans and never had a problem with driving them. But i have recently bought a 2012 toyota Yaris sr vvt-i, it has full service history and nothing "technically" wrong with it. But i am finding it really hard to find and keep the biting point! Usually you can feel the car want to go when you are on the bite, but i do not feel the bite with this! And because of this i stuggle terribly with hill starts, as i am either over reving or stalling.
Basically my question is, if i was to replace the clutch with a brand new one, would this change at all? Or is there any way of making the bite more "prominent"? Or is it just how the 2012 yaris is made?
Although it is on 51,000 miles, it has had its 50,000 service and found no problems, so the clutch isnt on its way out. Just want to know if changing it with a new clutch would fix the biting point at all?
Thanks.
