Mercedes A W169 or Kia Venga

Both cars meet most of my requirements. I would appreciate any views on advantages / drawbacks for each car.

I am inclined towards Venga 1.6 auto - A Class would be manual. Both cars second hand post 2011.

For the Kia unsure between older car with 4 gear traditional TC auto or paying more for newer 6 gear DSG. Have read many negative posts re VAG DSG but wondered if these might be better. Average mileage (10,000 ) so MPG not too important.

Find it difficult choosing so any advice/comment welcome. I appreciate its individual choice/test drive etc.
