No tax or insurance, need to sell a car

Hi all,

I am not a UK resident any more (I teach in UAE as of september). I left my car here as it was financed so couldn't sell it.

I've just had it serviced and MOT done. It has no tax or insurance. I'd like to sell it, but it needs a professional valet and polish, a tank of fuel and test driving by potential buyers.

Any suggestions as to how I can achieve this? I'm not sure I can get insured being a non-resident.
