Hi guys, new to this, just wanted to ask your advice / thoughts.
A friend of mine (honest a friend not me!) was rear ended shunted by a lorry a few days ago. He's ok apart from the usual stiffness however the lorry firm are contesting his claim stating he braked hard and late before indicating into his right turn. The lorry collided while he was stationery. He claim he is unsure if he braked hard and late and following the accident the lorry driver claimed he had it all on camera. Details were exchanged and he states that at upon leaving the lorry driver actually apologised to him and helped him clean glass out of his rear seat. I think however that given he's braked late that he may well have some blame and maybe the cctv will show that but saying that the lorry must have been travelling very close to him. What are everyone's thoughts?
