Hi all,
I have tried searching online for clarification on this, but it appears that there is no hard and fast answer regarding this. Or I have just misunderstood...
I haven't been around to take my car to get MOT'd, so it has now passed it's deadline. I realise that I cannot tax it without an MOT, but it appears (from the way they word it on the DVLA website about the new disc less tax regs) that it is illegal to have no tax on a vehicle if you haven't declared it off the road, regardless! Evidently I'm not going to get a SORN for the 2 days until my booked MOT, but am I breaking the law by being in this weird week long limbo period without an MOT or tax? Not that I can do much about it...
To head off any worries: No I'm not driving it (apart from to the test centre), and yes it is insured.
Thanks in advance.
