Unfortunately yesterday I reversed into another car while stationary in a McDonalds drive thru - so i would be at fault.
I only reversed a few feet and was doing less than 5mph. The only damage to my car are a couple of hairline scratches which would easily come out with a bit of T Cut.
The other persons car - it's quite an old car (year 2000), which was already badly damaged. There was gaffatape all around both headlights (it looks like the tape was holding them in, the bonnet was full of dents and scratches.
The problem is he is claiming that this accident caused this damage to his car. We've both been in contact with our insurance companies, just wondering if anyone has any advice they can give?
