Help with buying a new automatic car please?

Hi,

I'm looking for an automatic car that has good rating or reliability please. I'm not sure where to look or get help for this.

I suffer pain in my legs and feet which make walking very painful and using the clutch for periods of times causes me huge amounts of pain and as such was suggested i switch to an automatic to make life a bit easier.

We're looking to buy an automatic for around 8k or less and up to roughly 5 years old.

If anybody could give suggestions for cars, makes, models or literally anything that could help i would be really grateful as I i've struggled to find any information that can guide me in the right direction.
