I'm looking to buy a car before I've passed my test. I've done over 80 hours of driving and a test or two already. VW have a car in stock already, but if they sell it then I have to wait 12 weeks for a factory built option.
To insure a new VW polo on a provisional licence I've been quoted £149.05 a month, and it will go up to £157 a month when I pass. So theres not much difference in price between the two, and I don't have to pay to cancel the learner insurance.
My test is next Friday. If God forbid I didn't pass, would it be worth getting the car?
