We have a severe problem of speeding traffic in my village. The parish council deny there is a problem, so I've been checking speeds since April 2015 to prove them wrong & that something should be done. I was told I am doing nothing illegal. I was confronted by a female ranter this morning who is going to report me to the police. I told her she can if she wants to but I'm doing nothing illegal....she turned blue!! I am right aren't I?
I have recorded speeds between 35 & 73 in my 30 mph road, by the way, with similar sppeds throught the rest of the village. Last June a PSCO visited mt to tell me stop recording speeds. I asked if I was doing anything illegal & he said No, but I could cause an accident!! I asked the MP for support & he said No & trotted the accident excuse. I publish all recorded figures on a website, btw.
