My 2003 406 2.2 HDI has been a good friend. Yesterday, after disconnecting the battery so i could weld an exhaust bracket, i attempted to set off to do the school run and the key warning light was on (Never ever seen it before)
Now its 24 hours later, I've tried everything i can find searching google. Spoken to an auto locksmith who told me that in his work life he had never seen a Peugeot key lose its code and was reticent to come out to fix it as it was likely to be something else.
Fact is i don't have £100 to throw away and need to resolve this myself. Ive even acquired a PC app called PP2000 that can assist, but of course i don't have the correct interface for it, it doesn't recognise the KWP2000 interface i already have.
I so hope someone can offer some assistance here as i can't go to work or collect the kids or anything..
