1st of all - DO NOT BUY ANY INSURANCE FROM RAC NOR RSA -
I was hit by foreign driver on 15th January 2016 (from Bulgaria), RAC/RSA didn't manage to give me replacement car, didn't manage to repair my car even i've agreed to put it on my insurance and claim later money from foreign insurance company, they were unable to locate company even i've sent them copy on insurance certificate, company base in UK, Holland and Bulgaria, driver adress, his phone and details, they didn't manage to send any letter to them because they couldn't find them..that's a joke, this companyis a joke.
Do not sign any insurance with RAC/RSA because on the end you will finish with some brooker, then agent, then none RAC nor RSA is valid to talk...no one in this companies is valid to talk with,
Three times i had to do new claim, because, 1st was cancelled by brooker, 2nd by agent, 3rd by RAC and 4th made by RSA (RSA ref number for my case 201601026839 ..supposed to be completly sorted by MR D.T),
Six days i was waiting for repair company to take my car - ON MY POLICY !!! under my claim on my insurance - and give me a replacement one, but it never happened, they sent me text message to contact them about dropping my broken, unridable car to their garage, they had no replacement car for me, RAC/RSA didn't manage to find a car for me.
Spent around 20hrs on my mobile phone - yes i had to pay for it, because its not free line - with really bad people, miss or mrs Bianca from RAC or RSA call centre, was very rude for me, didnt let me talk, say or try to find any way through my case, was nearly screaming on me when i was trying to say something, shouting on me that if i won't stop taking she will put phone down!! their brooker or agent or RAC/RSA call centre is a joke, compeltly rubbish.
Then i was dealing with MR D.T. from RSA, to last tuesday i thought it's someone valid to talk and case will be sorted and closed - as i repaired car on my own (ahh garage owner i repaired car in, had problems with RAC in past and i didnt pay for labour when i told him about what happend and how RAC/RSA treated me, really good guy...and i had some parts cheaper), before him - Mr T - i asked twice "idiots" (yes "useless idiots, because it can't be called different way after all stress, money lost etc etc i had and still got with them") from RAC/RSA to close my claim as i repaired my car on my own, but they didn't manage to do even this **** easy job, no idea what they are able to do? someone any idea? stealing someones money as insurance and not paying off when something happening - perhaps only this...ahh and screaming on people like miss Bianca or lying to them and saying don't worry...lol yeah don't worry...take rope and rock, go to the river and fly down.
Anyway Mr T told me claim is closed somewhere in february or march, because i told him i repaired car on my own, i don't wish to be involved in any future conversations from RAC/RSA and he offered my 100 GBP for compensation for 20-30hrs on phone with screaming on me people, for all lies, for not giving me what i paid in my insurance (fully comprehensive with few extras and 5yrs NCB ), 23rd march i received @ from that MR about sending me an letter with something like it "Because of the delays and confusion caused I would like to offer you £100. Although compensation doesn't excuse the events that have taken place I feel it appropriate in this instance." Well that's great feelings...problem is it finished on that feelings because from 23rd March that 100GBP is still on the way,
And now the biggest joke - RCA/RSa sent me letter 8 days before renewal !!!! YES F..ING 8 DAYS BEFORE END OF MY INSURANCE NOT 2 NOT 3 NOT 4 WEEKS BUT 8 DAYS WITH DOUBLE ...YES 200% MORE THEN YEAR BEFORE ...renewal quote !!! that's bad joke...but not last one..last joke is that RAC/RSA made me as in fault of accident because they didn't manage to contact with that foreign driver insurance company last 3 ohh no nearly last 4 months - I GAVE YOU THEIRS ADRESSESs AND PHONES ??? HOW T.. F... you couldnt manage to contact with them? that's magic question - HOW?, but i'm not surprised, both companies are worth ****...no ? no no even **** is worth much more.

The claim was open as we were waiting response from the foreign principle who insure the vehicle that hit you.
The claim cannot be cancelled, as we have to keep record of the incident. However, what I have done is ask for the claim to be closed for information purposes only. This will then not reflect as a fault claim.
This can take up to 48hrs to update and should cause a change in the renewal youve received if you contact the RAC.

This man told me he closed claim as i repaired car on my own!!!!
We will see...48hrs ending today, so maybe tomorrow i'll find that i'm responsible for snowing at Antarctica and RAC/RSA will charge me for this
And now the last joke, another guy from my workplace was hit by Polish driver, car repaired in 3 weeks, and replacement car - just different insurance company...lucky guy, good for him he hsnt RAC/RSA or would be another story...
conclusion - maybe it's beacuse im Polsih so RCA/RSA don't care about my case, maybe if i was British or Asian or African they would sort my case faster but because i'm not one of them then they showed me middle finger
