I'm about to move and have a 120 mile per day commute for the next year or two. I therefore want a car that has the best MPG possible whilst also being v.comfortable for a tall guy. It's up the M3, likely in traffic most of the way!
To add more to the mix I have a family on the way so was originally considering a diesel nissan qashqai, however not sure if this is madness and the miles will cause enormous maintenance bills / leave the car next to dead in the next two years. Is skoda octavia or something like a golf a better option?
Budget circa £8k, but could stretch if it made sense.
Would love any thoughts?
